Reiki 1st Degree

The dictonary states that  to Attune is to
“Bring into harmony”

An Initiation is a
“ceremony or ritual, period of instruction”

Reiki is taught in three degrees.

During Usui’s time students would travel with him, slowly becoming initiated in the various levels of the energy until they to could become teachers.

In modern times the division of Attunements into degrees has made it easier to disseminate the various stages of energy amplification. 

Before completing each successive step it is good to allow an adequate period of time to adjust to the higher vibratory level. 

During the first degree initiation  the student receives a permanent attunement to the Reiki energy.  This focuses on elevating the energy of the physical body so that it can channel more intense healing energy. 

The attunement process transmits energy to the student in an amplified state. During this process the vibratory rate of the body is amplified.   The attunement is simply a re-wiring of our subtle energy channels.

 The Reiki attunements are a sacred spiritual ritual that connects the student with  a higher level of consciousness.  The attunement opens the crown, heart and palm chakras to allow the healing energy to flow. 

The Universal Divine Healing Energy is passed to the person to be attuned by an intermediary guide who facilitates the attunement process, and who actively aids the individual in his or her onward Reiki and  Seichem healing progression. 

The attunements are performed by a Reiki Master, controlled by Universal Wisdom and attended by Reiki Guides.  A Master means teacher and is a person who in Reiki terms has dedicated his or her life to teach and initiate others.

Each person  experiences something different during the  attunement procedure. No matter what you feel it is always right.  It takes each person a quantum leap ahead in the expansion of their conscious awareness. 

The expansion of energy will be relative to the level you are at to start with.  Your vibratory rate will continue to increase by self healing and treating others in the future.
